Students will visit the marsh to get an overview of the area as they are learning about this ecosystem and the impact that it has on our community. They would collect data for salt marsh projects that they are conducting as practice for what they could present and activities that they could lead at love your wetlands day, as well as work as mixed level groups to peer teach methods of data collection and learn how the science pathways at MBHS work. We would work on species ID, biodiversity measures, water and soil quality testing and a marsh community service activity.
