Professor Nicole King and I lead a 14 student (predoctoral) training grant from NIH for 2nd and 3rd year students. We have a Friday seminar on genetics and we have expanded the scope of this seminar to include excursions to UC Reserves in order to expose students to the diversity of life and the resources of the UC. Their mentors may also be present (although unclear how many) who are other Berkeley faculty.
