I plan on talking to the rangers, park workers, and docents of the area for oral histories. I will be out near the lighthouse collecting video footage and audio recordings most days. If possible I hope to also look through on-site archives as to further contextualize my work. I am really excited about the opportunity to work at Point Reyes after visiting as a kid and now being able to incorporate it into my work. The isolation of the place yet proximity to the big Bay Area cities makes the Point Reyes Station and interesting subject.
