Our research lab meets once a year at Point Reyes station for a weekend of work and hiking in the early part of the fall semester. Our visit to the reserve will begin on Friday afternoon and continue through Saturday and Sunday morning. In the past we have slept in the downstairs bunk beds and would plan to do so again. We will spend much of Saturday and most of Sunday morning conducting a workshop in the field station that involves group discussion of each others' work. Saturday will include an afternoon of outdoor activities and the group will cook dinner Friday and Saturday evenings. The group have all stayed at Point Reyes Field Station before and know the facilities, as well as proper cleanup protocol.
