This project will follow from the previous project watching activity at tortoise burrows. The current project will follow movements of tortoises, using radio telemetry and transmitters attached to tortoises by USGS partners as part of their ongoing study of tortoises in the Coachella Valley. The current project is based on similar projects in other areas, and will be part of the new UCR NRS summer internship program for undergraduates.
