On this site visit, I expect to conduct all activities outlined in the proposal. I would like to (1) conduct tide height and community diversity surveys, (2) measure and photograph whelks, (3) and install temperature loggers. Temperature loggers (n=3) will be deployed by drilling into the rock and fastening a PVC cap (containing a small logger) onto the rock with a screw. As of right now, I would like to allow the loggers to collect temperature data for 1 year (potentially with the continuation of a second year for a follow-up experiment, though I have not selected sites for that study yet).
