The purpose of this reservation is to deploy cages for a manipulative caging designed to explicitly test the relationship between whelk abundance and impacts on communities and populations (see Update 2 to the methods section). I would like to identify 7 plots, deploy 6 (0.1 m^2) cages (attached via screws to the rock), and move individuals of M. lugubris inside the cages.
