I plan to epoxy a robo-limpet temperature logger to the high intertidal near Dike rock. I would like to epoxy it to the north face of that rock I sent Isabelle a picture of which has a cluster of 100+ ribbed limpets. The robo-limpets will me used to measure fine-scale differences in the thermal experiences of high vs mid intertidal ribbed limpets. The robo-limpets are designed to look like limpet shells, and thus will have minimal aesthetic impact on areas where they are affixed. When the epoxy is removed 12-15 months, the substrate will be returned to its original state, with no permanent changes.
